Why?
- A world in which you vote is a better place than if you don’t vote.
- New Zealand’s election is coming up and voting day is on the 23rd September.
- The last two general elections have seen some of New Zealand’s lowest voter turnouts.
- 40% young people (aged 18-29) didn’t vote. However, it’s not just young people who aren’t voting.
- This website is for people who want to know more about the political system and election process & for people who don’t have enough time to go through all the parties policies endlessly themselves.
- We want to encourage people to be independent voters – vote for the party that has the best policies in your view.
Who are we?
We are comprised of post graduate students from Victoria University and full time workers based in New Zealand. We have backgrounds in Commerce, Science, Programming, Music, Political Science, Public Policy and Engineering but we all share a common interest in the political landscape of New Zealand.
Where did we get our information from?
All information presented on this website has been provided by the political parties websites. We have no affiliation with the parties themselves, any companies, or political groups. The write up of content on this website was done so that we have attempted to maintain objectivity, not favoring any party. We are non profit.
